Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribag has been established in the year 2019; Its first name being Hazaribag Medical College and the new session started in the year 2019 in the month of August. It was established under the control of Jharkhand, Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, India. It is regulated by Board of Governers in supersession of MCI; now, National Medical Commission . It is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand. The teaching hospital is Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital, Hazaribag. The name has been changed to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribag in September 2020.
