The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was created specifically to offer its students and alumni real career prospects. It was first formed in 2005. In order to connect students with appropriate placement opportunities, the CPC serves as the hub for all placement-related activities. To improve students' abilities and employability, it organizes a range of events including career fairs, campus placement drives, training and grooming workshops, and recruitment drives. According to the university, placement rates range from 70% to 80%, with the highest placement package recorded at INR 15 LPA and an average package between INR 3 and 4 LPA. In order to help the placement process even more, the CPC also intends to fortify the alumni association of the university.
