Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology – Scholarship

Scholarships from IIIT Delhi are given to students according to their needs and merit. The institute offers three scholarships in STEAM education: the Chairman's Scholarship, the Income-Linked Fee Waiver Scholarship, and the Women Empowerment Scholarship. The information about the IIIT Delhi scholarships is mentioned below:

Chairman’s Scholarship- Scholarships are given to students under this program based on their JEE Mains ranking. Every Delhi student who places lower than 1000 in the JE Mains will receive a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition fees. 50% of the tuition expenses for students who place between 1000 and 2000 in the JEE Mains will be awarded as scholarships.

Women Empowerment Scholarship in STEAM Education: 50% of the tuition for the top 100 female students who were admitted to the IIIT Delhi B.Tech program and achieved an aggregate score of more than 95% in class 12 will be given this scholarship. Students who receive this scholarship, however, will not be qualified for any other government-funded scholarships.

Income-linked fee waiver Scholarship- Based on their eligibility, IIIT Delhi students are eligible for fee waivers under the income-linked fee waiver scholarship. A 100% fee waiver is provided to the parents of students who fall under the Below Poverty Line (BPL). Students will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver if their family income is up to INR 6 lakhs and their past year's school fees were less than INR 25,000. However, students whose household income falls between INR 6 and 8 lakhs and whose most recent tuition payment was less than INR 45,000 annually would receive a 25% tuition price remission.
