The Indian Institute of Business Management (IIBM) Patna offers several scholarship schemes designed to reward academic excellence, encourage regular attendance, and support students from diverse backgrounds.

1. Merit-Based Scholarships

These are one-time or semester-wise awards based on prior academic performance or entrance exam scores:

  • MBA Students: Rs.5,000 for those with 70% or above in graduation or a 75th percentile and above in CAT/MAT/XAT,CMAT 

  • BBA/BCA Students: Rs.5,000 for students with 75% or above in CBSE/ICSE or 70% or above in BSEB/State Boards. 

2. Performance & Attendance Incentives

To encourage consistency, the institute provides semester-wise rewards based on attendance:

  • 80% Attendance: Rs.2,500 per semester. 

  • 90% Attendance: Rs.3,500 per semester. 

3. Special Empowerment Schemes

  • Uttam Girls Empowerment Scheme: Provides fee concessions specifically for female students. Female students are often eligible for a total course fee reduction of approximately Rs.12,000, which is typically reflected in the adjusted fee structure. 

  • Uttam Study & Earn: A semester-wise scholarship of Rs.5,000 aimed at supporting students through work-study opportunities. 

  • Uttam Shiksha Sahayta: Targeted at students from specific regions (like Uttar Pradesh) or backgrounds, offering tuition fee reductions of about 35% per semester. 

4. Government Financial Aid

The institute facilitates access to state and central government schemes:

  • Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC): Eligible students can avail of education loans up to Rs.4 lakhs with low interest rates (1% for women, PwD, and transgenders; 4% for others).

  • Central Sector Scholarships: Students can apply via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for SC/ST/OBC and Minority welfare scholarships.
