Numerous scholarship possibilities are available from the Gujarat-based Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG). Caste scholarships and reserved category scholarships are both accessible to deserving students as well as those from reserved groups. Teachers sometimes encourage their best students by giving them scholarships. Indian students participating in the Master of Public Health program at IIPHG in Gandhinagar are also eligible for scholarships from the Emmes Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is designed to motivate students to advance their careers in public health and give priority to employment in non-profit institutions and underdeveloped regions of the nation. Candidates that have relevant work experience in public health in underdeveloped and rural areas of India, women, members of socially and economically underprivileged groups, deserving students, and those who are underrepresented in these groups will be given precedence. The scholarship recipient will be chosen based on merit, financial resources, need that has been proven, and interest in public health.
