Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad – Scholarships

The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad offers various scholarships to support deserving students. Following is the list of some of the scholarships available at IIT Hyderabad.

  1. Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship:
  • Students from the GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC category are eligible.
  • Family income should not exceed INR 4.5 LPA.
  • Only 25% of the class strength will be awarded this scholarship.
  • Students should secure an SGPA / CGPA of 7.0 and above without failing in any exams.
  • Students are also eligible for a Pocket allowance of INR 1000 per month.
  1. SC/ST Scholarship:
  • Students from the SC / ST category are eligible.
  • Family income should not be more than INR 4.5 LPA.
  • Students should secure an SGPA/CGPA of 7.0 and above without any failure in previous exams.
  • Students are also eligible for a Pocket allowance of INR 250 per month. They are also eligible for a refund of the License Fee and Dining Charges.
