Indian Veterinary Research Institute Application/Admission Process

The online application process for ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly, follows a centralized, entrance-based procedure across its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

1.Appear for Required National Entrance Exam

B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Register and qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA.
M.V.Sc. / M.Sc.: Register and obtain a valid merit rank in ICAR AIEEA-PG.
Ph.D.: Qualify the IVRI All India Entrance Examination (for 75% institutional seats) or ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (for 25% seats).

2.Online Registration on Official Admission Portal:ivri.nic.in / icar.org.in.

Visit ivri.nic.in during the active admission window.
Select your target degree program (UG/PG/PhD) and click on the online admission link.
Create a candidate account using your active email ID, mobile number, and national entrance exam roll/application number.

3.Fill Personal and Academic Details:Form Completion.

Fill in personal credentials, category details (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/Divyang), and address.
Enter academic marks for 10th, 12th, and qualifying degree (B.V.Sc. / M.V.Sc. for PG and PhD applicants) along with entrance exam scores.

4.Upload Required Documents:Digital Verification.

Upload scanned copies in specified format (.JPEG/.PDF, typically under 200 KB):

Passport-size photograph and candidate signature.
Class 10th and 12th marksheets & passing certificates.
Qualifying Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate (for PG/PhD).
Category / Caste Certificate & Disability Certificate (if applicable).
Valid NEET-UG / ICAR Entrance Scorecard.

5.Pay Application / Counseling Registration Fee:Online Payment Gateway.

Pay the non-refundable registration/counseling fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking:

B.V.Sc. Counseling Fee: Rs.500 (General/OBC) | Rs.700 (SC/ST).
PG/PhD Application Fee: Rs.1,200 (General/OBC) | Rs.1,000 (SC/ST).
Save and print the generated payment receipt and submitted application confirmation page.

6.Choice Filling, Counseling, & Seat Allotment:Merit Allocation.

Lock your preferred disciplines during the counseling window (for M.V.Sc. via ICAR portal; for B.V.Sc. & Ph.D. via IVRI portal).
Monitor seat allotment results published on the portal based on national merit rank and category norms.

7.Physical Reporting & Document Verification:Final Enrollment at Bareilly Campus.

Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from the portal.
Report in person to the Registrar / Academic Cell at the Izatnagar, Bareilly campus with all original documents, migration certificate, medical fitness certificate, and passport photographs.
Complete initial tuition fee payment to secure your seat.
