2. Economically Backward Concessions

For students who belong to the General/Open category but face financial constraints, the following schemes drastically reduce the annual academic fees:

  • EBC Scheme (Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshanshulk Shishyaavrutti Yojna):

    • Eligibility: Open category students admitted via CAP rounds whose total annual family income is under ?8 Lakhs. 

    • Benefit: 50% waiver on the Tuition Fee. 

  • TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme):

    • Eligibility: Seats are explicitly allocated during the CAP allotment process based strictly on high MHT-CET/JEE Main merit ranks. The student's family income must be under ?8 Lakhs.

    • Benefit: 100% Tuition Fee Waiver for the entire 4-year duration of the course (students only pay development and university exam fees).
