IGIDR offers scholarships that are available at the central, state and institute levels and can be availed by students from select Asian countries.
Additionally, IGIDR also offers need-based scholarships to its Master's programme students with norms and conditions decided by the institute itself.
Candidates pursuing Ph.D. are given a monthly stipend of INR 31,000/- during the first two years. However, it is advised for the candidates to provide “part-time” research or “teaching” assistance from the second year onwards.
Additionally, candidates pursuing their Ph.D. will be provided with a stipend of INR 43,750/- monthly in their third year.
