Indira Global Business School Application/Admission Process

Admission to the flagship Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at IGBS is strictly merit-based and follows the guidelines set by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed a minimum 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

  • Minimum Marks: An aggregate score of at least 50% marks is required for general category candidates, and 45% marks for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State. Final-year graduation students can also apply provisionally.

2. Accepted Entrance Exams

Applicants must have a valid score in any of the following national or state-level management entrance tests:

  • MAH-MBA/MMS-CET (State-level exam with major seat allocation via CAP rounds)

  • Institute-Level / Management Quota Seats: Candidates can apply directly through the official IGBS admission portal or campus office for vacant or institutional seats, provided they meet the basic entrance exam and graduation eligibility requirements.

4. Step-by-Step Application Steps

  1. Register & Appear for Exams: Register and clear any recognized management entrance test (MAH-CET, CAT, CMAT, etc.).

  2. Submit Application: Fill out the online registration form on the official IGBS admissions website or register through the DTE Maharashtra portal for counseling.
