The International Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) Pune features a distinguished faculty comprising a blend of seasoned academics, researchers, and seasoned corporate professionals. This diverse mix ensures that students receive a balanced education grounded in both theoretical depth and practical industry insights.
Teaching Approach and Methodology The faculty adopts an interactive, student-centric pedagogical model designed to foster critical thinking and analytical capabilities. Rather than relying solely on traditional lectures, instructors heavily integrate case-based learning, live business projects, simulations, and group discussions. Faculty members also mentor students closely throughout their academic journey, guiding them through industry research, summer internships, and capstone projects.
Industry Integration and Expertise Many faculty members bring extensive corporate experience from leading national and international organizations, allowing them to bridge the gap between classroom concepts and evolving market trends. In addition to regular core faculty, IIMS Pune frequently hosts visiting professors, senior corporate leaders, and industry experts who conduct guest lectures, masterclasses, and specialized workshops on emerging domains such as Business Analytics, FinTech, and Supply Chain Innovations.
