Research Programmes in Ph.d/M.S (Engg)/M.S (Research) in JNCASR:
Candidates with an M Sc. or equivalent, B.E/B.Tech or equivalent or M. E/M. Tech or equivalent or B.VSc/M.VSc or MBBS/MD as applicable to individual Units are eligible to apply. They should have at least 55% in their highest University examination and should also have qualified in any one of the National exams with valid rank as on the date of applying in GATE/JEST/GPAT/UGC /CSIR -NET-JRF/ICMR-JRF/DBT-JRF/INSPIRE-JRF. Candidates applying through INSPIRE mode must possess valid provisional INSPIRE offer issued by the DST for consideration of their application during selection.
Candidates shall be shortlisted initially for a Personal Interview (PI) based on the Rank/Score of National Entrance Test and marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination. Final selection is based on the performance in the Personal Interview (PI). With respect to some units, an Aptitude Test/Preliminary Interview may precede the final interview.
