KVG Medical College & Hospital offers a structured admission process for aspiring medical students. Following is a comprehensive overview of the application and admission procedures for the MBBS program.

Admission Eligibility

General Requirements:

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the enrollment year.
  • Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Biotechnology), along with English, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required for general category students, while SC/ST candidates need 40%, and OBC candidates require 45%.

Admission Process

  • NEET Examination: Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is solely based on NEET scores.
  • Registration:Candidates need to register on the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website (kea.kar.nic.in) and log in using their credentials.
  • Application Form:Fill out the Karnataka NEET Counselling application form and pay the requisite fee. A printout of this application should be retained.

Document Upload: Required documents include the following that are listed below.

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Rank Card
  • 12th Grade Marksheet
  • Photographs and thumb impressions
  • Signature of both student and parents.

Document Verification Slip: After uploading documents, a verification slip will be generated, which is necessary for further steps.

Choice Filling: Candidates can fill in their preferred colleges based on their NEET rank after reviewing the mock test results.

Final Result Declaration: Once the final results are announced, candidates must pay the application fee to secure their admission.

Reporting: Candidates should report to the Karnataka Examination Authority after the first round of counseling results are declared before proceeding to KVG Medical College & Hospital.
