Major Scholarship Schemes

Students can apply for the following scholarships based on their category, merit, and economic background:

  • Government Post-Matric Scholarships:  SC/ST Scholarship: Available for SC/ST students whose parental annual income is below Rs.2.5 Lakhs. This typically covers tuition fees, exam fees, and provides a maintenance allowance.

    • BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship: Available for Backward Class, Most Backward Class, and Denotified Community students with a parental annual income below Rs.2 Lakhs.

  • First-Generation Graduate (FGG) Concession: A tuition fee waiver offered by the Tamil Nadu government to students who are the first in their family to pursue a professional degree.

  • AICTE Pragati Scholarship: A central government scheme designed to support girl students admitted to the first year of AICTE-approved technical programs. It provides financial assistance of up to Rs.50,000 per year.

  • AICTE Saksham Scholarship: A scheme for differently-abled students (with more than 40% disability) pursuing technical education, providing up to ?50,000 annually.
