Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical sciences. The admission process for these courses is primarily based on national-level entrance exams.

Admission Process

Undergraduate (MBBS) Admission

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.

Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam conducted by NTA.

Counseling Procedure: After qualifying NEET UG, candidates must participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

Postgraduate (MD/MS) Admission

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Completion of a one-year internship by March 31st is mandatory.

Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the NEET PG exam conducted by NBE.

Counseling Procedure: After qualifying NEET PG, candidates must participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Half of the seats are also filled through MCC counselling.

For UG Candidates:

• Scorecard or Rank Letter
• Class 10 and 12 certificates and mark sheets

• Provisional Allotment Letter
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

For PG Candidates:

• MBBS Certificate
• MBBS 3rd Part II mark sheet
• Medical Registration Certificate
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Photo identity proof
• NEET PG Score Card
• Online Counselling Registration Certificate
• Sponsorship Certificate (if applicable)

Application Process:

• Online Registration: Candidates must register for the NEET exam (UG or PG) as per their course preference.
• Counseling Registration: After qualifying NEET, candidates must register for the counseling process conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for UG and PG courses.
• Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on NEET scores, seat availability, and reservation criteria during counseling.
• Document Verification: Selected candidates must appear for document verification.
• Admission Confirmation: Final admission is confirmed after payment of the admission fee.
