Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal Memorial Government Medical College, offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) programs. The admission process for these programs involves several steps, primarily centered around the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET).

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS

• Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.
• Education: The candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for SC/ST and 45% for OBC).
• NEET UG: Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

MD/MS

• Education: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Internship: Completion of a one-year internship by March 31st is mandatory.
• NEET PG: Candidates must qualify for the NEET PG exam.

Admission Procedure

NEET Exams:

• NEET UG for MBBS admissions.
• NEET PG for MD/MS admissions.

Counselling:

• MBBS: Seats are allocated through counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (15%) and by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur, for Chhattisgarh State Quota (85%).
• MD/MS: Counselling is conducted by DME, Raipur, based on NEET PG scores.

Seat Allocation: Seats are allocated based on NEET scores, preferences, and availability. Multiple rounds of counselling may be conducted if seats remain vacant.

Reporting to College: After seat allocation, students must report to the college with the allotment letter and other required documents.
