NIRF Overview

NIRF stands for the National Institutional Ranking Framework. It was approved by the MHRD and was launched by the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on September 29, 2015. A framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. 

The methodology is drawn from the recommendations of the overall broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee that MHRD set up to find out the broad parameters for ranking several universities and institutions.
