Because the college is autonomous, it manages its own internal application portal while requiring mandatory registration on the University of Mumbai’s central portal.

Admission Process (Step-by-Step)

  1. Registration:

    • University Portal: Candidates must first register on the University of Mumbai’s Samarth portal to obtain a pre-admission enrollment form.

    • College Portal: Simultaneously, you must fill out the MLDCC Pre-Application form.

    • Note: You must acquire a separate user ID and password for each course if you are applying for multiple programs.

  2. Merit List & Selection:

    • Admission is strictly merit-based. Merit lists are prepared by the college based on the aggregate marks of the qualifying examination (XII for undergraduate, Bachelor’s degree for postgraduate).

    • For specific programs like B.Sc. (IT) and B.Sc. (Artificial Intelligence), merit lists are primarily based on HSC Mathematics marks, subject to tie-breaking rules.

    • The college releases multiple merit lists (First, Second, and Third/Final).

  3. Document Verification & Fee Payment:

    • Once a candidate is shortlisted in a merit list, they must proceed to the Student ERP Login on the college website to pay the admission fees online.

    • After payment, physical verification of documents is conducted at the college premises.
