Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College offers a variety of scholarships aimed at supporting students from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from economically disadvantaged and backward categories. These scholarships not only help reduce the financial burden of education but also recognize academic and extracurricular achievements.

CV Raman Scholarship:

• Amount: INR 5,000 per year
• Eligibility: High achievers in II PUC examination pursuing B.Sc.

INSPIRE Scholarship:

• Amount: INR 60,000 + INR 20,000 for project per year
• Eligibility:Sc. students in basic sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology). Application via the online portal typically open from August to October.

Karnataka Science & Technology Academy (KSTA) Scholarship:

• Amount: INR 10,000 per year
• Eligibility: High achievers in II PUC pursuing B.Sc.

Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship:

• Amount: INR 2,000 per year
• Eligibility: Female degree students with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

Educational Concession for Children of Service Personnel:

• Coverage: Tuition, lab, examination fees refunded.
• Eligibility: Children of ex-servicemen.

Beedi Workers Scholarship:

• Eligibility: Children of beedi workers with family income below INR 10,000/month and not receiving other scholarships.

Government of India National Merit Scholarship:

• Amount: INR 720 per year
• Eligibility: Merit-based selection for students with marks above 80% in qualifying exams; family income must be INR 25,000 or below.

Scholarship for Differently-Abled Students:

• Eligibility: Must have studied in Karnataka for at least 5 years and maintain 80% attendance.

To apply for these scholarships, students need to provide several documents including:

• Marksheets and certificates of 10th and 12th examinations
• Admission receipt
• Family income certificate
• Domicile certificate (Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card)
• Bank passbook (first page)
• Declaration regarding any gap year by the institution head
• Latest passport-size photograph
• ST/PVTG certificate (for ST category)
• Caste certificate

Scholarships are renewable for subsequent years only if the student passes semester exams in one attempt.
