Mahatma Gandhi University, Ri Bhoi offers various scholarships to its students. It has launched a 100% scholarship program for girl candidates, called the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for Girls. Preference is given to candidates whose family income is less than INR 2.5 LPA.
There are also other scholarships, including Merit-based scholarships and scholarships for economically weaker sections of society. These scholarships are available for both UG and PG courses. It also provides scholarships to students who excel in sports and other extracurricular activities. The Mahatma Gandhi University's scholarship policy is inclusive and aims to provide equal opportunities to all deserving students.
