Admissions to Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) are primarily merit-based and conducted through centralized state-level processes. Below is the breakdown of the admission criteria by program:

1. B.Tech (Undergraduate)

Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical) entrance examination.
Seat Allocation:
- 85% of seats are filled through the State Government’s centralized allotment process.
- 15% of seats are reserved under the Management Quota. These are filled by the Mar Athanasius College Association from eligible candidates who have appeared for KEAM and applied to the college within the prescribed dates.
Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as an optional subject, with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
Lateral Entry: Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering can apply for admission to the second year of B.Tech based on the entrance test conducted by the State Government’s Technical Directorate.

2. M.Tech (Postgraduate)
