Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology (MBCET), Thiruvananthapuram – Application/Admission Process

Undergraduate Admission (B. Tech)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks in the relevant subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) for general category students.
  • The college accepts scores from the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) examination or JEE Mains for admission.

Admission Process:

  • Candidates need to register through the official KEAM portal and appear for the entrance exam scheduled from April 24 to April 28, 2025.
  • Following the exam, candidates must participate in the KEAM counselling process where they can select MBCET as their preferred institution.
  • Successful candidates will be allotted seats based on their entrance exam scores and preferences during counselling.

Postgraduate Admission (M. Tech)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. For SEBC students, a minimum of 55% is required.
  • Admission is based on GATE scores, and candidates must also participate in the Kerala M.Tech counselling process.

Admission Process:

  • Candidates need to register on the official MBCET admissions portal and fill out the application form accurately.
  • After submitting the application, candidates must attend counselling based on their GATE scores to secure a seat in their desired specialization.
