Ranking

• For exhibiting significant potential in implementing 21st-century education best practices, MLCU was recognized among India's top 10 developing private higher education institutions in the Grand Jury Awards 2019–20 of Education World.

• Moreover, MLCU received a nomination for "Student Diversity" and placed 10th in that category.

• In 2022, MLCU, Shillong received the World Water Day Award.

• Also, MLCU has triumphed in several contests, including the Inter College Skit Competition-Euphoria in 2022 and the MeitY Ideathon Program Winners for two of its students.

In addition, the university was placed first in Meghalaya and 52^nd  overall among the top 100 private universities in India in 2022 by the Education World India Higher Education Ranking.
