Masters’ Union, Gurugram – Scholarships

Masters’ Union in Gurugram offers a comprehensive range of scholarships to support students across its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PGP) programs. These scholarships are designed to recognize merit, financial need, leadership, diversity, and extracurricular achievements while studying at Masters’ Union.

Scholarship Types and Eligibility:

Merit-Based Scholarships

  • Karthik Ramanna Merit-based Scholarship: For exceptional academic records and test scores; awards full or partial tuition waivers.
  • Manoj Kohli Merit-based Scholarship: Also based on academic excellence and professional accomplishments; partial tuition waivers for both UG and PGP students.

Scholarships for Women

  • Rajni Thethi Scholarship for Women: For female candidates with impressive academic/professional records and leadership potential.
  • Malavika Harita’s Scholarship for Women: Specifically, for PGP-Rise students.

Diversity and Need-Based Scholarships

  • Narendra Jhadav Diversity Scholarship: For low-income, marginalized, or underserved communities in India and neighboring countries (Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, etc.).

  • Mihir Mankad’s Need-Based Scholarship: For PGP-Rise students facing financial hardship.
  • Edward Rogers Change-Agent Scholarship: For PGP-Rise students with a proven social impact.

Scholarship Amounts and Coverage

  • UG Scholarships: Range from 20% to 100% of tuition fees, depending on the applicant’s profile and performance in the scholarship test.
  • PGP Scholarships: Up to 100% tuition waiver for exceptional candidates; over 90 scholarships available for the postgraduate batch.
  • Special Announcements: Recently, Masters’ Union announced 10 full scholarships (100% tuition) for its flagship INR 40 lakh UG programme, aimed at nurturing diverse talents.

Application Process:

  • UG Students: Must appear for a scholarship test during the admission process. Scholarships are awarded based on test scores and overall profile.
  • PGP Students: Select scholarship options in the application form itself. Eligibility is determined by academic, professional, and extracurricular achievements.

 

Scholarships at Masters’ Union are awarded based on both merit and financial need. To qualify, students must achieve a minimum score of 35 out of 45 in the MUSAT (Masters’ Union Scholarship Aptitude Test) or provide their CUET, SAT, JEE, or MUSAT scores for consideration. Students' extra-curriculum also plays a vital role in fetching a scholarship. This ensures deserving candidates receive the support they need to excel in their academic journey.

1) Karthik Ramanna Merit-based Scholarship
This scholarship identifies and extends financial support to candidates with exceptional academic records and accomplishments. Institute's merit-based scholarships are need-blind and offer full and partial waivers of the tuition fee, as decided by the selection panel.

Eligibility: Exceptional academic record and test scores

2) Rajni Thethi Scholarship for Women
This scholarship is extended to deserving female candidates with an impressive academic track record, along with the drive and potential to emerge as an industry leader.

Scholarship 3
3) Mukund Rajan India bound Scholarship
This scholarship is directed at Indian-origin candidates who are currently based abroad (i.e. PIO card-holders), and wish to engage with the Indian corporate sector and professional ecosystem. This scholarship applies to candidates who wish to return to India in pursuit of world-class education, that may help catapult their careers to newer heights.

Eligibility: PIO cardholders and Indian citizens studying abroad

4) MU Scholarship for Technology Leaders
This scholarship is for candidates who have demonstrated a predisposition towards technological pursuits, through participation in tech events or the school coding clubs, etc. and are looking to further their career prospects in the technology domain.

Eligibility: Exceptional technological pursuits including entrepreneurship, technical awards, hackathons, etc.

5) Narendra Jhadav Diversity Scholarship
This scholarship aims at the inclusion of exceptional candidates from low-income, marginalized or underserved communities.

Eligibility: Candidates from low-income communities within India, as well as neighboring countries such as Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, etc.

6) MU Scholarship for Exceptional Extracurriculars
This scholarship aims to identify those who have displayed exceptional drive and leadership potential through active participation in student-led committees, clubs, and other initiatives while in school.

Eligibility: Exceptional achievements across extracurricular activities including dance, dramatics, debating, sports, non-profits etc. Masters' Union also offers Scholarships for Entrepreneurs.

7)MU Scholarship for Young Leaders

The Masters' Union (MU) Scholarship for Young Leaders, notably the Pankaj Bansal Scholarship, recognizes young professionals demonstrating exceptional leadership, community service, or student initiatives.

Eligibility :Applicants must submit a 250-400 word essay detailing leadership roles, actions taken, and quantifiable outcomes achieved
