MAYA DEVI UNIVERSITY (MDU) SCHOLARSHIPS

Maya Devi University offers a wide range of scholarships to support deserving and meritorious students. These scholarships aim to make quality education affordable for students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Scholarship Types

  1. MDUCET-Based Scholarships- Scholarships based on scores in the MDU Common Entrance Test (MDUCET):
    • 95% and above: 100% tuition fee waiver
    • 90-94.99%: 50% tuition fee waiver
    • 80-89.99%: 30% tuition fee waiver
    • 70-79.99%: 20% tuition fee waiver
    • 65-69.99%: 10% tuition fee waiver
  2. Merit-Based Scholarships- Awarded based on academic excellence in previous qualifying exams (Class 10, 12, graduation):
    • Similar percentage-based tuition fee waivers as MDUCET scholarships.
    • Students must maintain attendance and academic performance to continue receiving scholarships.
  3. National-Level Entrance Exam Scholarships- Financial aid available for students with excellent ranks in exams like JEE Mains, NEET, CAT, CLAT, NIFT, with tuition fee waivers ranging from 30% to 50% depending on rank bands.
  4. Social Responsibility Scholarships- Fee waivers for children of freedom fighters, defense personnel, orphaned students, single mothers, physically challenged students (50% or more disability), and other designated vulnerable groups.
  5. Sports Scholarships
    • International players: 100% tuition fee waiver
    • National medal winners: 50% tuition fee waiver
    • National participants: 30% tuition fee waiver
  6. Special Scholarships
    • Employee and employee family discounts (30% tuition waiver)
    • Talent Hunt Programs and other category-specific scholarships are also available.
