MES Institute of Management Application/Admission Process

Admissions to undergraduate programs (B.Com, BBA, and BCA) at MES Institute of Management are strictly conducted in accordance with the guidelines set by Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University (BCU) and the Government of Karnataka.

1.Eligibility Criteria

  • General Academic Qualification: Candidates must have successfully passed the II PUC / Class 12 / Equivalent Examination from a recognized State Board, CBSE, ICSE, or equivalent.

  • Stream Requirements:

    • For B.Com & BBA: Open to students from both commerce and non-commerce (Science/Arts) streams as per BCU regulations.

    • For BCA: Preference or specific foundational requirements in Mathematics/Computer Science may apply based on university norms.

2. Selection Process

  • Merit-Based: Admissions are primarily granted based on academic merit (qualifying marks secured in the 10+2 / PUC examinations).

  • Roster System: The seat allotment strictly follows the government reservation policy and university roster system.

  • Counseling Interaction: Shortlisted candidates, along with their parents or guardians, typically participate in a pre-admission counseling session at the campus to finalize course selection and verify documents.

3. Application Process

Applicants can apply through both online and offline channels:

  1. Form Procurement: Obtain the application form either by downloading it from the official college website (mesiom.in) or by collecting it directly from the campus admission office.

  2. Submission: Fill out the application form with accurate personal and academic details and submit it along with required enclosures to the college admission desk.

  3. Fee Payment & Registration: Upon seat confirmation and document verification, candidates pay the requisite admission fees. Final registration is completed via the university portal (UUCMS).

4. Documents Required at Admission

Candidates must produce the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies during verification:

  • Class 10 (SSLC) Marks Card

  • I PUC / Class 11 and II PUC / Class 12 Marks Cards

  • Transfer Certificate (TC)

  • Conduct / Character Certificate

  • Migration Certificate (mandatory for students from non-Karnataka boards like CBSE/ICSE)

  • Income and Caste Certificate (if claiming reservation benefits)

  • Aadhaar Card copy

  • Recent passport-size photographs (2 to 4 copies)
