MIT World Peace University Goa Scholarships & Eligibility

MIT-WPU Goa offers a structured scholarship program designed to support both academic excellence and inclusivity. As a student considering this for your 2026 application, here is a breakdown of the available financial support:

Scholarships for Indian Students

  1. Chancellor’s Scholars:

100% Tuition Fee Waiver

Awarded to a select group of top incoming students demonstrating exceptional academic
achievement at the national or international level.

Eligibility (any one of the following):

  • 95 percentile or above in JEE Main
  • 1200 or higher in SAT
  • 120 or higher in UCEED
  • Rank ≤ 800 in NID DAT Mains
  • 95 percentile or higher across subjects in CUET
  • Other equivalent exceptional accomplishments as approved by the Scholarship Committee.

Duration: 4 Years

2. WPU GOA Merit Scholarship:

Up to 50% Tuition Fee Waiver

Recognizes strong academic performance and overall potential through holistic assessment,
including academic performance, entrance test scores, portfolio (for Design programmes), and
Personal Interaction.

Eligibility : Minimum 75% score in WPU GOA admission assessment

Duration: 4 Years

3. WPU GOA Excellence Scholarship:

Up to 25% Tuition Fee Waiver

Awarded to students demonstrating exceptional achievements beyond academics in sports, creative and performing arts, innovation, leadership, social impact, or other nationally/internationally recognized areas.

Duration: 4 Years

4. Annual Performance Scholarship (From Year 2 onwards):

Awarded to the highest-performing student in each programme based on:

  • Academic performance in the preceding academic year
  • Faculty recommendations
  • Overall classroom participation and extracurricular engagement

Benefit: 50% tuition fee waiver for the current academic year only.
May be awarded to the same student in multiple years (one year at a time), subject to continued eligibility. The Committee’s decision is final.

5. WPU GOA – Local Students Scholarship:

15% Tuition Fee Waiver

Instituted to support meritorious students domiciled in Goa.

Eligibility:

  • Domicile of Goa (as defined by the Government of Goa)
  • Completed Class 12 from an institution in Goa with First Class
