National Institute of Technical Teachers Training And Research Scholarships & Eligibility

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal provides multiple scholarship programs, stipends, and financial aid schemes supported by central ministries, AICTE, state government welfare departments, and institute research funds.

1. AICTE PG GATE Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Full-time regular students admitted to M.Tech / M.E. programs with a valid GATE score.

  • Financial Benefit: Rs.12,400 per month for up to 24 months (or till the completion of the program).

  • Application Mode: Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) via the official AICTE PG Scholarship Portal after institute verification.

2. NITTTR Post-Doctoral & Research Fellowships

  • Ph.D. Awarded Fellows: Up to Rs.55,000 per month for post-doctoral researchers holding a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university.

  • Thesis-Submitted Candidates: Up to Rs.35,000 per month for scholars who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis awaiting degree defense.

  • Direct Ph.D. / Research Assistantships: Institutional teaching and research assistantships provided to select full-time doctoral scholars as per institute norms.

3. Government Category & Merit Scholarships

  • Central Sector Scholarship Schemes (NSP Portal): Post-Matric and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships offered through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

  • State Government Welfare Schemes (MP MPTAASC / Other States): Domicile-based tuition fee reimbursement schemes for reserve category students (e.g., MP MPTAASC portal for Madhya Pradesh residents).

  • AICTE Pragati & Saksham Schemes: Special financial support for eligible girl students (Pragati) and differently-abled students (Saksham).
