The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, also known as NITA, is a technology-oriented institute of higher education in Agartala, Tripura, India. It was established in 1965 as Tripura Engineering College and declared an Institute of National Importance in 2006 by the Government of India.

NIT Agartala has been approved by AICTE. It has further secured 151 positions by NIRF in 2023 under overall category.
