NIT Srinagar is situated on the banks of world famous Dal lake with the views of zabarwan mountains and is considered on of the most beautiful campus in the country. The best part in my opinion of our collage is the weather you get to see the snow and it does not get that much hot here. Coming to academics the professors are very well qualified with almost all of them holding PHDs from the pretigous institutes of the county and some from the top universities of the world, They know there subjects well. like any other collage some professors are very good and some are those typical professors who just want to satisfy there ego but overall they are good. The downside in my opinion about our collage is the infrastructure which is quite old.

For those who are looking for a decent NIT at a low jee rank can always check out nit srinagar because due to bad reputation of this college , cutoffs are optimal as compared to other great NIT's.Even though its is 3rd Tier NIT it provides various facilities and opportunities which can help anyone to grow. Rest Ambience of campus make it quiet worthy...exceptional choice for a nature loving travelling freak.

NIT Srinagar has one the beautiful campus, if you are nature enthusiastic then college is good for you and also academics is good. The college has NIRF ranking of 66 and is improving year by year. This NIT is one of the oldest NITs as well.
