Pass in any one of the following examinations as in the 10+2 pattern.
Those who have passed/completed Samhita (Rigveda/KrishnaYajurveda/ Shukla Yajurveda/ Samaveda and Atharva Veda) and have some knowledge of Sanskrit are eligible, subject to the passing of the entrance test (Oral & Written) conducted by the University in Samhita of respective Veda and Sanskrit on the specified date. Entrance Test Board will be constituted by the N.S.University.
M.A (Hindi)
Any Graduate/equivalent to Graduate with a second language Hindi / optional Hindi.
Any Graduate without Hindi at the graduate level, but is with Rashtra Bhasha Praveena of Dhakshina Bharat Hindi Prachara Sabha, Chennai.

Any graduate with a second class from a recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates having Sanskrit as one of the subjects/ proficiency in Sanskrit. In addition, they have to enclose a Physical Fitness Certificate obtained from a certified medical practitioner, not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon.
