The Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology was founded in 2007 and has its magnificent campus at Amhara in the district of Patna, Bihar.  With its distinctive 4,00,000 square feet of built-up area on about 18 acres of lush, green land at Amhara, Bihta, Patna, NSIT, a degree-level engineering institute, has emerged as "an effective source of Technocrats to the nation." 

One of Patna, Bihar's top engineering colleges, NSIT provides a range of courses, including undergraduate degrees in five different areas and diploma programs in three other streams.  It is associated with the State Board of Technical Education, Patna, and Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna. Transport- To meet the transportation needs of its staff, visitors, and students, the college maintains a fleet of buses of its own. The college and the city are connected by these buses. On working days and special occasions, the college offers transportation from the city to the college campus and back for the faculty, students, and support staff.
