Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology (NIET), Greater Noida – Application/Admission Process

  1. Undergraduate Programs (B. Tech, B. Pharma, D. Pharma):

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Tech: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks and must qualify for the JEE Main exam.
  • Pharma: Completion of 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in science subjects.
  • Pharma: Similar eligibility as B. Pharma.

Admission Process:

  • Admissions for B. Tech are based on JEE Main scores followed by UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) counseling.
  • For B. Pharma and D. Pharma, admissions are merit-based based on the last qualifying examination scores.
  1. Postgraduate Programs (M. Tech, M. Pharma, MBA, MCA):

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Tech: A bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 60% marks and valid GATE scores.
  • Pharma: A B. Pharm degree with a minimum of 55%.
  • MBA: A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and valid scores from CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT.
  • MCA: A bachelor’s degree with mathematics as one of the subjects.

Admission Process:

  • Tech admissions are based on GATE scores followed by UPTAC counseling.
  • MBA admissions are conducted based on entrance exam scores (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT) and subsequent counseling.
  • MCA admissions follow a similar pattern, relying on entrance exam performance.

Integrated Programs:

Integrated programs like MBA/ MCA require candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Admissions are typically merit-based or through entrance exams as applicable.

Application Procedure

  • Online Application: Candidates must apply online through the official NIET The application form requires personal details, academic qualifications, and entrance exam scores where applicable.
  • Documentation: Necessary documents include mark sheets, identity proof, photographs, and any relevant entrance exam scorecards.
  • Counseling: After the application review, selected candidates will be called for counseling sessions where they can choose their preferred courses based on available seats.
