DR. RVR NRI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Scholarships & Eligibility

Dr. RVR NRI Institute of Technology (NRIIT) offers access to various government-sponsored welfare schemes, central scholarship portals, and institutional fee concessions to ensure financial assistance for eligible students.

1. State Government Schemes (Andhra Pradesh)

 

Eligible candidates admitted under Category-A (Convenor Quota) through state entrance exams (AP EAPCET / ECET / ICET / PGECET) can avail of the Andhra Pradesh government welfare schemes:

  • Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD) / Post-Matric Scholarship: Provides 100% tuition fee reimbursement credited directly to mothers' bank accounts in quarterly installments.
  • Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (JVD): Provides financial aid toward hostel, mess, and boarding expenses (up to Rs.20,000 annually) for eligible students.

2. Central Government / National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

Students can apply for central schemes forwarded by the institute:

  • Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships (CSSS): Merit-based assistance for top percentile scorers in Class 12.

  • AICTE Pragati Scholarship: Special financial aid for meritorious female students pursuing technical degree programs.

  • AICTE Saksham Scholarship: Aid for differently-abled students with over 40% disability pursuing technical education.

  • Post-Matric Scholarships for Minorities: Financial assistance administered under the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

3. Institutional Concessions & Merit Scholarships

NRIIT offers management-level fee waivers and awards based on exceptional performance and special quotas:

  • Merit-Based Waivers: Partial tuition fee discounts (25%–100%) for candidates securing top ranks in AP EAPCET / GATE / AP PGECET or exceptional academic percentages in qualifying exams.

  • Sports Quota Concessions: Special tuition waivers (10%–50%) for state or national-level sports achievers.

  • Special Category Aid: Concessions for wards of defense/paramilitary personnel, single girl children, and children of alumni.
