NxtWave of Innovation in Advanced Technologies (NIAT) Application/Admission Process

To join the NxtWave of Innovation in Advanced Technologies (NIAT) upskilling program in Hyderabad, you must follow a structured admission process. It is important to note that NIAT is an upskilling initiative, not a university or degree-granting body. You will earn your B.Tech degree from a collaborating university, while the NIAT program runs alongside it to provide industry-ready skills.

The 4-Step Enrollment Process

  1. Submit the NAT Application:

    • Visit the to register.

    • Fill in your personal and academic details.

    • Pay the non-refundable registration fee of ?1,200.

  2. Take the NxtWave Assessment Test (NAT):

    • The NAT is a 90-minute online exam that evaluates your cognitive potential, logical reasoning, and mathematical aptitude. It is not a university entrance exam but an internal assessment for the upskilling program.

    • The test consists of 81 questions divided into:

      • Psychometric Assessment: Behavioral and cognitive adaptability.

      • Critical Thinking & Learnability: Analytical skills and logical reasoning.

      • Mathematics: Core high school-level concepts.

  3. Appear for Career Counselling:

    • Qualified candidates are invited to a one-on-one session.

    • This session helps match your goals and interests with a suitable collaborating university in Hyderabad (e.g., Aurora Deemed University or Chaitanya Deemed to be University).

  4. Confirm Enrollment:

    • After the counseling session, you must independently apply to the suggested university. The university will process your admission based on its own eligibility criteria (typically 10+2 with PCM and a minimum of 60% aggregate) and follow UGC/AICTE norms
