Admission Process for MBBS

  • NEET UG Exam: Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to be eligible for MBBS admission.
  • Registration for Kerala NEET UG Counseling: After qualifying NEET UG, candidates need to register on the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, for state counseling.
  • Application Form and Document Upload: Candidates must fill out the Kerala NEET application form and upload necessary documents such as educational certificates, identification proof, and photographs.
  • Application Fee Payment: Pay the prescribed application fee as part of the application process.
  • Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: Participate in choice filling for preferred colleges and await seat allotment based on NEET scores and seat availability.
  • Reporting to College: Once allotted a seat, candidates must report to PKDIMS for admission formalities.

Admission Process for MD/MS

  • NEET PG Exam: Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
  • Kerala NEET PG Counseling: After qualifying NEET PG, participate in the Kerala NEET PG counseling conducted by CEE, Kerala.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Hold an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks and complete a one-year internship by March 31st of the admission year.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS and MD/MS

MBBS:

  • 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.

MD/MS:

  • MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an NMC-recognized institution.
  • Completion of a one-year internship by March 31st of the admission year.

Fees and Quota

  • MBBS Fees: Approximately INR 31,76,122 for the entire course.
  • MD/MS Fees: Approximately INR 47,25,000 for the entire course.
  • Quota: 85% merit seats and 15% NRI seats.

Documents Required for Admission: Candidates must produce original documents, including educational certificates, identification proof, and NEET scorecards, at the time of admission.
