Panimalar Engineering College is an institution of higher education catering to the Christian minority, governed by the JAISAKTHI Educational Trust. The college is located near Poonamallee, Chennai, and is well connected by road covering, Chennai, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur districts. In line with the general policy of the Tamilnadu government, the Trust established Panimalar Engineering College in 2000.
The College has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NAAC, and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, in addition to UGC recognition. B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, and MBA programmes are offered by PEC Chennai.
