PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PESIMSR), Kuppam – Application/Admission Process

PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a private medical college located in Andhra Pradesh, established in 2001. It offers various courses in the medical field, including MBBS, MD/MS, and other diploma and undergraduate programs. The admission process involves both merit-based and entrance exam-based criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS:

• Age: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.
• Education: 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Entrance Exam: NEET UG is mandatory for admission.

MD/MS:

• Education: MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Internship: Completion of a one-year internship by or before March 31st.
• Entrance Exam: NEET PG is required for admission.

Diploma and Other UG Courses:

Education: 10+2 from a recognized school. Admission for some courses like BPT is based on merit (CBSE 12th or BIEAP scores).

Admission Process

Application Form:

• Candidates must fill out the application form available on the college's official website.
• Required documents include class 10th and 12th mark sheets, degree certificates (for PG), photo ID proof, entrance exam scorecards, etc.

Entrance Exams:

• NEET UG for MBBS and other UG courses.
• NEET PG for MD/MS courses.
• For BPT, admission is based on CBSE 12th or BIEAP scores.

Counseling:

After qualifying in the entrance exams, candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for Andhra Pradesh state quota seats.

Seat Allocation:

Seats are allocated based on NEET scores, seat availability, and reservation criteria during the counseling rounds. 

Document Verification and Fee Payment: Admission is confirmed after document verification and payment of fees.
