Rami Reddy Subbarami Reddy Engineering College Application/Admission Process

Admission to Ramireddy Subbarami Reddy Engineering College (RSREC) is primarily merit-based, following the regulations set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and JNTU, Anantapur.

Admission Categories

Seats at RSREC are divided into two main categories:

Category A (Convener Quota - 70%): These seats are filled through the state-level counseling process based on the ranks obtained in entrance examinations (AP EAPCET for B.Tech, AP ICET for MBA).
Category B (Management Quota - 30%): These seats are filled directly by the college management. The college issues notifications in leading newspapers and on its website, inviting applications. These applications are processed based on merit and must be ratified by the competent authority.

Admission Requirements

1. B.Tech Programs

Entrance Exam: Must have a valid rank in AP EAPCET (formerly AP EAMCET) or JEE Main.
Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as an optional subject, with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories).
Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can apply for admission directly into the second year based on their AP ECET rank (subject to 10% supernumerary intake).

2. MBA Program

Entrance Exam: Must have a valid rank in AP ICET
Eligibility: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree (3/4 years duration) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

Application Process Steps

Monitor Notifications: For Category A seats, follow the official AP EAPCET/AP ICET counseling schedule provided by the state government. For Category B seats, keep a close watch on the RSREC Official Website for their specific admission notification.
Submit Application:
- Category A: Complete the online web counseling process as instructed by the APSCHE.
- Category B: Download the application form (when notified) from the college website or collect it from the campus, fill it out, and submit it via registered post or as specified in the advertisement.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must provide the following during admission:
- Entrance Examination Rank Card and Hall Ticket.
- Intermediate/Degree Mark sheets and Provisional Certificates.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate.
- Caste and Residence certificates (if applicable).
- Passport-size photographs.
