Ranga Raya Medical College offers several scholarship opportunities to its students. Following is the list of some of the scholarships that can be availed by the students at RMC.

Undergraduate Student Research Scholarships (UGRSRS):

  • Objective:To promote interest and aptitude for research among undergraduates, specifically MBBS students.
  • Eligibility:MBBS students before their final exams are eligible.
  • Award:Approximately 8 students are awarded a stipend of ?5,000 per month for three months, totaling ?15,000.
  • Application Process:Students must submit a research proposal, which is evaluated by the Selection Committee. The selected students are expected to complete their projects within three months and submit a report for approval to receive the stipend.

Government Scholarships: The college offers government scholarships like JVD, which are available based on eligibility criteria.

  • Internship Stipend: MBBS students receive a stipend of ?20,000 to ?25,000 per month during their internship.
  • Academic Excellence Scholarships: Rangaraya Medical College offers up to 100% scholarships to eligible candidates based on their academic excellence and extracurricular achievements.

Additional Financial Support

  • Education Loans:The college also facilitates education loans up to ?50 lakhs without collateral for students.
