RISE Krishna Sai Prakasam Group of Institutions (RPRA), established in 2009 in Ongole, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, is a premier private, self-funded engineering and management institution. Approved by the AICTE and permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada, the institute holds an 'A' Grade certification from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It offers merit-oriented undergraduate (B.Tech, including Lateral Entry) and postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA, MCA) programs. Admissions strictly follow the regulatory frameworks established by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Admission Process

Admissions at the institution are bifurcated into two primary pathways: the State Convener Quota (Category A) and the Management Quota (Category B).

• Convener Quota (Category A - 70% to 75% of Seats):

  • For B.Tech (1st Year), candidates must secure a valid rank in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET / EAPCET). For B.Tech Lateral Entry (2nd Year), a valid AP ECET score is required.

  • For MBA and MCA, seats are filled based on the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) performance.

  • For M.Tech, selection relies heavily on the GATE or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) merit list.

  • Eligible candidates must participate in the web-based centralized counseling portal managed by APSCHE, where they complete online registration, submit preferences via web options selecting RISE as their target institute, and receive seat allocations.

• Management Quota (Category B - 25% to 30% of Seats): Candidates can apply directly to the institution. While priority is assigned to students possessing valid state or national entrance exam scorecards, direct admissions are also extended based on merit in the qualifying intermediate or graduation examinations, subject to verification by JNTUK.

Application Fees & Tuition Charges

• Counselling Processing Fees: Paid online via the APSCHE portal during registration. It typically stands around INR 1,200 for OC/BC candidates and INR 600 for SC/ST candidates.

• Annual Tuition Fees (As authorized per Convener standard regulations):

  • B.Tech Regular: INR 40,300 per annum

  • MBA / MCA: INR 35,000 per annum

  • M.Tech: INR 50,000 per annum

• Hostel Accommodations: On-campus hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls at a uniform structure of INR 45,000 per year.

Fee Concession Note: Eligible candidates can avail themselves of full tuition fee exemptions via state schemes like the Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD), provided they present a valid income certificate demonstrating a family income of less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum.

Required Documents

During physical reporting and final data verification, candidates must produce the original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies:

1. AP EAPCET / AP ICET / AP PGECET Rank Card and Hall Ticket.

2. Online Counselling Seat Allotment Memo and Fee Receipt.

3. SSC (Class 10th) or equivalent Mark Sheet (as birth date verification).

4. Intermediate / Class 12th / Diploma Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.

5. Undergrad Degree Consolidated Mark Sheet and Provisional Certificate (For PG candidates).

6. Study/Bonafide Certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate/Graduation.

7. Transfer Certificate (T.C.) and Conduct Certificate from the last institution.

8. Integrated Community/Caste Certificate (issued by Meeseva for BC/SC/ST categories).

9. Income Certificate of parents (issued on or after January 1 of the current calendar year).

10. Residence Certificate / Nativity Proof.

11. Aadhaar Card (Mandatory Identity Proof).

12. Six recent passport-size color photographs.

13. Signed Anti-Ragging Affidavit.
