Initially in 2008 it was started with B.Tech. courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics & Communication Engineering, RPSCET quickly expanded its horizonEven institutions continued to evolve and introduce new programs to meet industry demands. In 2012 evolution continuously and B.Tech. program in Civil Engineering was launched, followed by an M.Tech. in Computer Science & EngineeringIn the next year, 2013, expansion continued with the launch of new courses such as Electrical Engineering in the B.Tech. program and M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branches.RPS Polytechnic College, which offers Engineering Diplomas in Mechanical and Civil branches, was started in 2015, expanding the educational reach of the institution.

There are a total of seven building in this college including one girls hostel and one for boys seperately and a mess. and college buildings. One new building is in construction mode it will be completed in two or three months. Teachers are well educated and experienced.
