Santhiram College of Pharmacy Application/Admission Process

Admission to Santhiram College of Pharmacy (SRCP), Nandyal, is primarily managed through state-level counseling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). As an autonomous institution affiliated with JNTU, Anantapur, the college follows a merit-based admission process.

Admission Process

Admissions are facilitated through a common entrance process:

  • Entrance Exams: Candidates must appear for the relevant state-level entrance examinations:

    • B.Pharm: AP EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test).

    • M.Pharm: GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or AP PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test).

    • Pharm.D:  NEETor AP EAPCET

  • Counseling: After the declaration of entrance exam results, eligible candidates must participate in the web counseling process organized by the APSCHE. Seats are allotted based on the candidate's rank, preference, and reservation policies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Pharm: Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks in the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics).

  • M.Pharm: Must hold a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

  • Pharm.D: Must have completed 10+2 (MPC or BiPC stream) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

How to Apply

  1. Online Registration: Prospective students should monitor the official APSCHE portal for notifications regarding counseling dates and registration.

  2. College Inquiry: While the primary seat allotment is through state counseling, you may register your interest directly through the SRCP Official Website for notifications regarding management quota seats or college-specific admission updates.

  3. Document Verification: Keep the following documents ready for the counseling phase:

    • Entrance exam rank card and hall ticket.

    • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets.

    • Graduation mark sheets (for M.Pharm candidates).

    • Transfer/Migration and Character certificates.

    • Caste and Income certificates (if applicable for reservations).
