SATHYABAMA UNIVERSITY – ADMISSIONS

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), Chennai, conducts admissions for 2026 primarily through SAEEE (Sathyabama All India Entrance Examination) for B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch., with direct merit or alternative exams (JEE Main, NATA) for other UG/PG programs.

UG Step-by-Step Process

  1. Register online at saeee2026.sathyabama.ac.in (Phase I open since Nov 27, 2025; fee Rs 1100 via net banking/card).
  2. Fill application with personal/academic details (10+2 marks, DOB on/after Jan 1, 2006); upload photo/signature.
  3. Appear for SAEEE (Phase 1: Apr 2026, Phase 2: May 2026; online proctored, 120 min: Physics/Chem/Maths/Bio/English).
  4. Check results (Jun 2026) and download rank card; shortlisted candidates receive counseling call letter.
  5. Attend online/offline counseling (Jul 2026): verify documents (SSLC/HSC marks, TC, community/NAT certificate), pay fees for provisional admission.
  6. Report to campus for final verification and hostel allocation if applicable.

PG Step-by-Step Process

  1. Apply online at sathyabama.ac.in post-qualifying exam results (TANCET/CAT/GATE for MBA/M.Tech).
  2. Submit UG marks (min 60%), entrance scores, and documents.
  3. Shortlisting based on merit/entrance; attend counseling/interview (Apr-Jun 2026).
  4. Pay fees and confirm seat; NRI category direct via sponsorship letter.

B.E (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering)

B.Tech -Chemical Engineering

A Pass 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

B.Tech (Biotechnology, Biomedical)

A Pass 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subjects (Mathematics /Biology / Biotechnology) with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

B.Arch. - Architecture

A Pass in the 10+2 / HSC / ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum average of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and a valid NATA marks(National Aptitude Test in Architecture,(45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

B.Des

A Pass in HSC (10+2) / equivalent from any State Board or CBSE or ICSE with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

B.Sc Mathematics/B.Sc C.S/B.Sc Data Science/ B.Sc Computer Science with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI)/B.Sc IT/BCA/B.Sc Forensic Science/ M.Sc Computer Science (Integrated Course)

B.Sc Medical Lab Technology/ B.Sc Clinicial Nutrition and Dietetics

A Pass in HSC (10+2) / equivalent examination with Biology/Botany/Zoology, Chemistry, Physics with a minimum of 50% marks from any State Board or CBSE or ICSE  

B.Sc Hotel Management/ B.Sc Fashion Design/ B.Sc Visual Communication/ B.Sc Psychology

A Pass in HSC (10+2) / equivalent from any State Board or CBSE or ICSE  with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

B.Com. – Bachelor of Commerce

M.Pharm

A Pass in an Undergraduate Degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognized University with 50% in the Qualifying Examination (45% for Reserved Category)

MDS

The Candidate must be an Indian National / Person of Indian Origin / Overseas Citizen of India card holder possessing BDS from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India under the Dentist Act, 1948 and has obtained provisional or permanent BDS registration and has completed one year (12 months) of compulsory rotary internship in an approved / recognized Dental College.

Qualify in Post Graduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by the Government of India

Admission through Centralized Counselling conducted by the Medical Council of India

M.A
