Aligned with CHRIST (Deemed to be University)'s mission to provide quality, equitable, and accessible education to everyone, regardless of socio-economic background, the University has founded the Scholarship Support Cell.
The Scholarship Support Cell's purpose is to offer information, assistance, and guidance to students regarding the scholarship application process. These scholarships are provided by the University, its Alumni Association, and various external organizations.
Internal scholarships are granted by the University and the Alumni Association, with contributions from organizations like Goldman Sachs, and Ernst and Young, which partner with the University to offer financial aid to students who are visually impaired or economically underprivileged.
External scholarships are awarded by the Government of India, state governments, regulatory authorities such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Karnataka Labour Welfare Board, and various philanthropic or community-based organizations.
The University's Scholarship Support Cell is a specialized entity that aids students in applying for these scholarships. Operating under the Office of the Registrar, the Cell disseminates information about available scholarships to students via email and provides comprehensive guidance throughout the application process.
