Shoolini University  of Biotechnology and Management Sciences – Scholarships

Shoolini University offers various scholarships to deserving students every year. The nature of scholarships can be either need scholarships, merit-cum-need scholarships or merit scholarships. The scholarship will be given as a tuition fee waiver and the amount will range from 10% to 100% depending on case to case.                     

 Undergraduate  Scholarship Programs:

• Scholarship For Single Parents- Scholarships will be awarded to single parents who are working and have an annual income of less than INR 5 lakhs. According to this programme, scholarship continuation for the following academic year is also possible with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.0. Candidates must have received a minimum of 65% in their previous degrees to be eligible for this award.

• Merit Scholarship for Undergraduate CSE and Core Engineering Courses based on JEE Mains Score- This scholarship is available to JEE Mains qualifying candidates, and the amount awarded will depend on the percentile they achieved in the national entrance exam. This is only available during the first and third semesters and only applies to tuition payments.
• Merit Scholarship for UG Courses based on Class 12/ Diploma Marks: Based on candidates' performance in their Class 12 or Diploma examination, a scholarship will be given on tuition fees in the first and third semesters only. Details are given below: 

• Sports Scholarship: Students who participated in national or international competitions are also eligible for scholarships from Shoolini University. A 50% scholarship will be offered as a tuition price waiver exclusively during the first and third semesters for football, cricket, and Olympic sports. A 25% scholarship will be offered at the national level for football, cricket, and Olympic sports as a tuition price waiver in the first and third semesters.
• Scholarships for Postgraduate Study:  Similar to undergraduate scholarships, Shoolini University also provides postgraduate scholarships for single parents based on admission exam results, as well as scholarships for deserving candidates. The many scholarships available at Shoolini University are listed below:
• Scholarship for single parents- Scholarships will be awarded to single parents who are working and have an annual income of less than INR 5 lakhs. According to this programme, scholarship continuation for the following academic year is also possible with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.0. • Scholarship for Experienced MBA Candidates: Shoolini University’s MBA applicants will receive a 20% scholarship for the first semester alone. This applies to students who have at least a year of stable employment. Students having a minimum of two years of regular job experience will get a 30% scholarship.

• Merit Scholarship based on GATE Result for PG CSE & Core Engineering Courses: Those who have earned a GATE qualification based on their entrance exam percentile are eligible for this. This applies to tuition expenses and will be given for the duration of the programme, with an annual review. The percentage of scholarships awarded based on GATE scores is listed below:

• Need-cum-merit Scholarships for PG Courses: Students with a household annual income of less than INR 5 lacs and a minimum of 65% in their previous degree will be awarded up to 50% scholarship on tuition costs for all years.
• Ph.D. Scholarships: Shoolini University also provides several scholarships for Ph.D. students due to the university's substantial research focus. The maximum number of students can participate in and gain from these scholarships while enrolled in the Ph.D. programme at Shoolini University. Below are specifics:
• Junior Research Fellow Scholarships: With this award, a student will receive INR 30,000 per year for three years while enrolled in Shoolini University's Ph.D. programme. Only 20 applicants will receive the scholarship, which includes a full three-year tuition waiver for the Ph.D. programme.

• The Chancellor's Fully Supported Research Fellows Scholarships: This Scholarship is open to all internal and external students accepted into the University's Ph.D. programmes. This scholarship covers all tuition costs for 10 students for three years.
