Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University  – Scholarships.

At the time of enrollment and in future years, SGT University gives scholarships to deserving students in the form of fee concessions. Candidates for UG and PG studies may be eligible for a 20% to 100% fee concession based on their merit results (except for the faculties of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dental Sciences, and the Indian Medical System). In addition to this, SGT University provides students in certain categories with additional scholarship perks.

Types of Scholarships

Students can apply for SGT University scholarships under additional categories like Defense and female students in addition to merit-based scholarships. The university's categories-based scholarships are listed below:

• Female students: The institution offers female students enrolled in non-medical programmes a tuition fee reduction of up to 5%.Students enrolled in the following programs will not be considered for this discount: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, MD, MS, MDS, BASLP, Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology, PhD, MPhil, D.Ed. Spl. Edn., and B. Ed. Spl. Edn.

• Students' siblings:- Siblings of college students are entitled to a 35% annual fee reduction. Awarded to students in all UG and PG programs, excluding those in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and Ayurveda.

Relatives of university staff members- Only candidates who are blood relatives (son/daughter or husband/wife) of university personnel are taken into consideration. BSc Nursing (Post Basic) students are entitled to a 25% annual tuition cost discount. A fee reduction of 35% is given for all other courses, excluding those in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and Ayurveda.

Defense Category:  Students who are male or female and whose parents are currently serving in the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, or Paramilitary Forces) or who have retired from the military. Several documents must be submitted by applicants for scholarships in this category.

 Here is a list of the paperwork needed for both active-duty and retired military personnel:

      (i) The servicemen's dependent card, a certificate from the unit commander, or the servicemen's commanding officer.

      (ii) The service member's certificate of discharge (applicable under the category of retired defense personnel).

      (iii) Identification document for active-duty personnel or veterans, as appropriate.

     (iv) The pupil's identification or Aadhaar card

• Reference from the principal- According to the principal's recommendation, boy/girl students in a variety of courses are eligible for a 5% fee discount.
