Scholarships Based on a student's academic standing, financial need, and other factors, SRU, Raipur awards a variety of scholarships to meritorious applicants. Among the scholarships offered are:
Top Class Education Scholarship (Top Class Education for SC category students by Govt. of India) through National e-Scholarship Portal (NeSP)
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of "Top Class Education for SC category students" from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment based on the Inter-se-ranking of the institute and annual income of their parents each year. The eligible students (SC students can get financial support as a scholarship for covering the full tuition fee and non-refundable charges, living expenses @Rs.2220/- per month, Book and stationary @Rs. 3,000/- per annum and the latest computer with accessories like UPS, Printer and Multimedia limited to Rs. 45,000/-.
PRAGATI & SAKSHAM Scholarship Scheme of AICTE through NESP
Pragati is an MHRD Scheme being implemented by AICTE for Girls and SAKSHAM is for specially-abled children to pursue Technical Education. Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum of 3 years for first-year admitted students and a maximum of 2 years for second-year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
Minority Scholarship through National Scholarship Portal
Scholarship from Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India to all concerned students as per merit and parents' annual income.
Prime Minister Scholarship (PM Scholarship)
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles and Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For RPF/RPSF to all the eligible students as per marks secured in the last examinations
Scholarship from Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India
Stipend to the wards of Cine workers, Mineworkers, Beedi workers and Film workers based on merit.
