SIES College of Commerce and Economics provides a variety of financial aid options, including institutional scholarships, government schemes, and merit-based awards, to support eligible students.

Institutional Scholarships & Financial Aid

  • SIES Education Assistance Trust (SEAT) Scholarship: This is a major initiative by the South Indian Education Society. It is awarded based on a combination of academic merit and economic need. It typically provides partial or full tuition fee waivers to hundreds of students annually across SIES institutions.

  • Endowment & Named Scholarships: The college facilitates several specific endowment awards for qualifying students, including:

    • Bhojraj Scholarship: Generally available to first-year students with a family income of Rs.3,00,000 or less and a minimum of 65% in the previous examination.

    • Geeta Israni Scholarship: Offered to students meeting similar income criteria (up to Rs.3,00,000) who have secured 50% or more in their previous exams.

  • Other Financial Support: The college also works with various charitable trusts, philanthropists, and industry bodies to provide fee reimbursements or direct financial support to students from low-income groups.

Government Scholarship & Freeship Schemes

Students can apply for various state and central government programs, usually through dedicated portals like MahaDBT or the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
