Sinhgad Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Mumbai – Application/Admission Process

  1. Application Process:

Online Registration: Candidates must begin by visiting the official SIBM website and clicking on "Apply Now" to register themselves.

Filling the Application Form: Applicants need to fill out the application form with their academic and personal details.

Document Submission: Required documents must be uploaded, including:

  • Passport-size photograph
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  • Undergraduate mark sheet (if applicable)
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Character certificate

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of INR 1,000 must be paid online via debit/credit cards or net banking.

  1. Entrance Examination:

Admission to SIBM's MBA programs is contingent upon performance in the MAT, ATMA, CAT, XAT, MHT CET. Candidates must register for SNAP, which is a prerequisite for applying to SIBM. The SNAP test assesses candidates' aptitude in various areas critical for business studies.

  1. Selection Rounds:

After the SNAP results are announced, candidates are shortlisted based on their scores. The selection process typically includes:

  • Group Exercise: Candidates participate in group discussions or activities to assess teamwork and communication skills.
  • Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview where their suitability for the program is evaluated.
  • Written Ability Test (WAT): Some programs may also require candidates to complete a written analysis task.
  1. Seat Allotment and Admission Confirmation:

Following the selection rounds, seats are allocated based on merit derived from MAT, ATMA, CAT, XAT, MHT CET scores and performance in subsequent evaluations. Selected candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their enrollment in the program.
